Cupola. - Patching material G-PAX series with general
and economic grades are available for Cupola
trough and ladle repair.
PAX series is classified as high silica base soft plastic material containing graphite. It has better
workability and has superior thermal properties and lower wettability to the molten metal and
slag. And it is suitable for repairing wider area of cupola hearth, fore furnace and ladle for both
acid and basic refractories.
G-PAX is conventional material with main chemical of SiO2 suitable for repairing cupola trough
and ladle. It consists of Silica, graphite and clay bond.
ST-PAX has special bonding material and SiO which has thermal stability and slag resistance
and it is developed specially for severe operating conditions. It is suitable for cupola tuyere and
tap hole area where better thermal, abrasion and corrosion resistance is required.
